To avoid any erroneous interpretation of these definitions, any reference to “Products” shall be understood and interpreted as including the services offered and any other goods (e.g., accessories) offered for sale by Guraghe SRL on the Site.

The visitor/user/buyer who accesses and uses the Site shall be referred to in this material as the “User,” who may also be found on the Site under the designation “Client.” To avoid any erroneous interpretation of these definitions, any reference to “User” shall be understood and interpreted as referring to any person who accesses and uses the Site, regardless of whether they place an order or not. The User can be an individual or a legal entity (accessing the Site through one or more individuals) and who, by accessing, using, and placing an order, explicitly agrees to comply with the Terms and Conditions subject to this material regarding the access and use of the Site and the conditions for the sale of Products. The responsibility for accessing the Site and placing orders lies solely with the User. The User undertakes to comply with the applicable law, the Terms and Conditions published on the Site, as well as the proprietary rights of Guraghe SRL over the registered trademark, the Site, and the Products. The User agrees to access and use the Site only for lawful purposes and by lawful means, in accordance with industry practice, for commercial purposes, refraining from any act or practice that may harm Guraghe SRL.

Guraghe SRL is the owner of the ADEYI trademark and all intellectual property rights over this Site, including the concept, design, and content thereof, without limitation to the written part (text) or the illustrated part (images, colors, clips, videos, etc.). Reproduction, transmission, distribution, posting, copying, republication, uploading to the Internet, in whole or in part, by any means, including email or other electronic means, of the content of the Site, is strictly prohibited without the prior and express written consent of Guraghe SRL, including using the content of the Site for purposes other than commercial. If any of these actions listed above have been taken without the prior and express written consent of Guraghe SRL, a serious violation of Guraghe SRL’s intellectual property rights has occurred. Any damage caused to Guraghe SRL will be fully compensated by the responsible party. Guraghe SRL reserves the right to select its customers.

 

Limited liability

Guraghe SRL. Guraghe SRL will carefully select the information published on the Site, but despite all efforts, Guraghe SRL cannot be held responsible for damages related to data and information published or maintained on the Site (information containing errors or inaccuracies or not being up-to-date), as these can be confirmed at any time by the User with one of our operators, at the phone numbers displayed on the Site or by email at the email address displayed on the site. Information about Products and the Site can be obtained by phone at the numbers displayed on the Site. Guraghe SRL reserves the right, at its own discretion, to modify or update any information published on the Site at any time. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions that may affect your rights will be made known by their publication on this Site. We recommend that you regularly consult the Terms and Conditions to be informed about any possible changes. By accessing and using the Site, you express your explicit and unequivocal consent to the modified content of the Terms and Conditions.

Guraghe SRL is not responsible for damages caused by the non-functioning of the Site and does not guarantee that there will be no interruptions, errors, viruses, or other harmful components or that defects will be corrected.

Users, by accessing and using the Site, expressly and unequivocally agree that the use of the Site and the purchase of Products are done at their own risk. Guraghe SRL grants Users all the rights mentioned in this material.

Accessing the links posted on the Site is done at your own responsibility. Guraghe SRL is not responsible for the content of the sites in these links, whether these links belong to partners or collaborators of Guraghe SRL.

Guraghe SRL is not liable in any way and in any situation if you do not comply with the Terms and Conditions in case of claims for compensation for costs, losses, etc.

For any subscription, there is also an option to unsubscribe, so please identify the field/area on the Site dedicated to this purpose. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and is done by deleting your account from the store, along with all your personal data. All addresses, orders, and other information will be deleted.

 

Online Order 

At Guraghe SRL, our products can be easily and quickly purchased online. To successfully place an order, please follow these steps:

1. SEARCH for the desired product using the special search field or navigate through the product categories displayed in the main menu.
2. ADD the products to your shopping cart by selecting the “Add to Cart” button. You can add multiple products from different categories to your cart.
3. After adding products to your cart, you can REVIEW the product list and quantity, and you can REMOVE any selected products if needed.
4. Choose the DELIVERY method for your products – fast courier delivery.
5. Provide the necessary details for billing and delivery. If you have multiple delivery addresses, please place separate orders for each of them.
6. Choose your preferred PAYMENT method. You can opt for direct payment at one of Guraghe SRL’s stores, cash on delivery, online payment with a bank card, or bank transfer.
7. Before submitting your order, carefully read and accept the Terms and Conditions by ticking the “Accept Terms and Conditions” box, or you can cancel the order if you do not agree.
8. After submitting the order, you will receive a confirmation email.

Please note that submitting the order does not confirm the order itself. The order will be considered registered only after you receive a confirmation notification to the email address provided by you. We will process your order within 48 hours and confirm the fulfillment to the email address provided by you, but only after the full payment for the ordered products is received into Guraghe SRL’s bank account. Similarly, we will inform you about the shipment of the ordered products to the address you specified. Notifications can also be sent via text message (SMS), but this is not mandatory. We will inform you if there are any obstacles regarding the fulfillment and/or delivery of the order.

 

Payment Methods

The prices of the products and related images are published on the website for informative purposes and may be subject to unannounced/unexpected changes. Prices and/or promotions/offers published on the website may not necessarily match the prices and/or promotions in Guraghe SRL’s physical stores. Guraghe SRL reserves the right, at its discretion and without prior notice, to modify the prices of the products. Promotions/offers published on the website have limited validity as announced, and if no time period for their validity is announced, Guraghe SRL will honor the orders based on available stock. All information can be verified with one of our operators at the phone numbers displayed on the website. All products are available only within the limit of existing/available stock.

The payment for products can be made through one of the following methods:

– Cash on delivery – full payment in cash to the courier upon receiving the products, if the total price of the ordered products does not exceed 10,000 lei for individual users or 5,000 lei for legal entities.

– Online payment with a bank card. If the customer chooses to pay online with a card for the ordered products, contracts, and/or agreements, the authorization and payment settlement of card acceptance transactions are exclusively processed through NETOPIA PAYMENTS.

All types of cards issued by Romanian and foreign banks under the VISA and MasterCard logos are accepted, provided that the issuing banks have activated them for online payments. Additionally, credit card payments for installments are accepted as listed on the payment information page. Other payment methods include bank transfer or payment upon delivery.

Guraghe SRL does not request or store any information related to the customer’s card(s) or bank card(s). This information is processed directly on the servers of the online payment service provider.

The payment date is the date when Guraghe SRL’s account is credited with the amount paid by the user as the price of the ordered products. If Guraghe SRL does not receive the full price of the ordered products, the products will not be delivered. To receive the ordered products, in addition to paying the price, the user must also pay the transportation cost to the courier.

*) In the case of online payment with a bank card or by bank transfer, please note that if we have not sent you a confirmation notification within the 48-hour period required for processing the order, the paid amount will be refunded to your account as soon as possible. Payments to and from Guraghe SRL comply with the conditions agreed upon with the payment processor.

– Cash payment to the courier of the chosen courier company upon receiving the ordered products.

The final price to be paid by the user is determined by the sum of the prices of the ordered products and the transport costs (where applicable). Guraghe SRL does not charge any additional fees beyond those displayed on the website. Before paying any additional amounts to the courier, please contact us at the phone numbers displayed on the website before making the payment for the transportation to the courier.

Property rights over the products are transferred to the user from the date of issuing the invoice for the sale of the ordered products on the website.

 

Delivery of Orders

 

Product Return Policy

The user has the right to return the ordered Products from the Site without penalties and without invoking any reason, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 regarding consumer rights within contracts concluded with professionals, as well as for amending and supplementing certain legal acts. The request for return shall be made within 14 working days from the receipt of the Product. Ways and Deadlines for Returns

The user is obligated to notify Guraghe SRL of their intention to return the purchased Products, either by email at contact@adeyi.ro, by phone at the number 0745300271, or directly on the Site by completing this form.

The information you need to provide for us to approve the courier’s dispatch to you for the retrieval of the Products is as follows:

• Full name of the User;
• Order number;
• Amount to be refunded;
• Address from where the courier will pick up the return package;
• Bank account details where you wish to receive the refund representing the price of the returned Products (in the case of cash-on-delivery orders or bank transfer payments).

Upon receiving the above information, Guraghe SRL will request the courier to go to the address indicated by the User to pick up the package containing the Products to be returned. The return transportation costs will always be the responsibility of the User. Conditions for Product Returns

The returned Product must be in the same technical and qualitative condition in which it was delivered, in the original packaging, with intact labels, and together with all the documents that accompanied it (invoice, etc). Products that have been used or show physical modifications and/or unauthorized interventions are not eligible for return. In the case of an order that included a gift product, if the entire order is returned, the User is obliged to return the gift product in its original, undamaged, and unsealed state.

Once the contents of the return package have been inspected by Guraghe SRL, we will send you an email to inform you of the status of the refund, whether it has been accepted or rejected. If the return is accepted, the refund will be processed using the most suitable method of financial reimbursement accepted by both parties. This financial reimbursement will take place approximately within 14 working days from the date of accepting the return.

 

Delayed or Non-processed Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received the refund within the specified period, the first step is to recheck your bank account details if they were provided for the refund. Delays in refunds often occur due to banking systems in the case of returns. If you have followed all these steps and haven’t received the refund as per the above details, please contact us by email at contact@adeyi.ro, or by phone at the numbers on the Site, which are constantly updated, or directly on the Site using the contact form.

Exchanges (if applicable). Exchanges/replacements of Products occur only in cases where the initially delivered Products have defects or signs of damage that affect their functionality or aesthetic form. If you wish to have the received Product replaced with the same type of product, please notify us in writing within 2 working days from the receipt of the Product via email at contact@adeyi.ro or directly on the Site using the contact form.

 

Complaints and Notifications

Any issues regarding the Products will be resolved internally in an amicable manner within 14 working days from the date of written notification of the issues, while respecting the conditions specified in the Terms and Conditions. Complaints regarding aesthetic deficiencies of the Products should be submitted in writing to Guraghe SRL within a maximum of 2 working days from the date of receipt.

Any disputes between Guraghe SRL and Users will be resolved amicably, and in case of failure, the dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Zalau. In the first instance, the competent court will be the Zalau Court or the Salaj Tribunal, as applicable.

 

Right of Withdrawal

According to Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 regarding consumer rights within contracts concluded with professionals, as well as for amending and supplementing certain normative acts, the User has the rights and obligations provided by this normative act regarding withdrawal from the distance contract.

The User has the right to withdraw from the contract before the expiration of the withdrawal period, without having to justify the decision to withdraw and without bearing any costs other than those provided in Article 13 paragraph 3 and Article 14 of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, within 14 days starting from the day on which they physically take possession of the Product. The return costs are borne by the User. The returned Product must be in the same technical, qualitative, and quantitative condition in which it was delivered, in its original packaging, with intact labels, and together with all the accompanying documents (invoice, warranty certificate, etc.). Returns of Products that have been used or show physical alterations and/or unauthorized interventions are not accepted. In the case of an order with a gift product offered, if the order is returned in full, the User is obligated to return the gift product in its original, undamaged, and unsealed condition. The User is obligated to return the Products in the same condition in which they received them (in the original packaging, with all accessories, intact labels, and accompanying documents).

The return transport costs will always be the responsibility of the User. The return postal address is: City of Zalau, Mihail Sadoveanu Street no. 43, Salaj County, postal code 450018.

According to Article 2 paragraph 7 of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, a distance contract is defined as any contract concluded between a professional and a consumer within an organized system of distance sales or provision of services, without the simultaneous physical presence of the professional and the consumer, using exclusively one or more means of distance communication, until and including the moment the contract is concluded.

Guraghe SRL will reimburse the User the value of the Product within a maximum of 14 days from the date of notification made by the User to Guraghe SRL regarding the decision to withdraw from the contract. Guraghe SRL may postpone the reimbursement of the Product’s value until the approval of the return package’s content or until receiving proof that it has been shipped.

The refund will be made as follows:

1. For Orders paid with online card – by refund to the account from which the payment was made;
2. For Orders paid by cash on delivery/bank transfer – by bank transfer.

 

Warranty Policy

All Products are new and delivered in the original packaging of the manufacturer.

Exchanges/replacements of Products occur only if the initially delivered Products have defects or signs of damage that affect their functionality or aesthetic form. If you wish to replace the received Product with the same type of product, please notify us in writing within 2 working days of receiving the Product by email at the address contact@adeyi.ro or directly on the Site using the contact form.

Failure to comply with the notification deadline results in the loss of the right to request the resolution of the sale. When the defect appears gradually, the 2 working day period begins to run from the day on which the User becomes aware of the severity and extent of the defect.

The term for resolving a service event is a maximum of 30 calendar days for Users as consumers, except when a more restrictive term is provided by law, in which case the legal term applies. The term starts running from the date the Product is received at our headquarters in Zalau City, Mihail Sadoveanu Street no. 43, Salaj County, postal code 450018.

If the reported defect is not remedied after this period, one of the following measures will be applied, in the order mentioned:

1. Replacement with a new, identical product;
2. Refund of the Product’s value;
3. If there is no identical product available and no refund of the Product’s value is desired, the replacement will be made with a new product with characteristics and performance at least similar to those of the original Product, only with the User’s agreement and without payment of an additional amount.

Guraghe SRL guarantees that the marketed Products:

• Are new and do not endanger the life, health, and safety of humans and animals
• Correspond to the purpose described accurately, completely, and precisely in the instructions for use of each Product (labels, instructions, or markings on individual packaging), as well as the purposes for which such Products are normally used;
• Do not have operating defects;
• Have normal quality and performance parameters, in accordance with the technical specifications.

Guraghe SRL does not provide a warranty for ordered and delivered Products if the lack of conformity results from:

• Manipulation, use, storage, including unauthorized modifications or interventions on the Products by the User or third parties;
• Exposure to fires, floods, and/or other events falling under the cases of fortuitous events or force majeure, as defined by Romanian law;
• Destruction, degradation, or decrease in the technical qualities of the Products due to incorrect storage/preservation conditions, handling, and/or use.

 

 Processing of Personal Data

The data controller for the personal data collected on this website is Guraghe SRL.

We make every effort to ensure that we protect and respect the confidentiality of your personal data by implementing the necessary measures required by the applicable data protection laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.

This section aims to inform you about the personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us through this website, as well as how we will process this data.

According to the current data protection laws and regulations (GDPR), personal data is defined as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. In principle, this includes personal data that Guraghe SRL considers: the individual’s name, address, email address, personal identification number, phone number, customer codes/account identifiers, AWB identification code for product delivery, etc.

The personal data collected and processed by Guraghe SRL includes: the individual’s name, address (postal address for delivery), email address, personal identification number, phone number, client identification codes/online identifiers, billing information (in case of order completion), banking information (in case of return/refund), social media account.

We do not collect or process sensitive data as defined by GDPR, nor do we intend to collect or process data of minors under the age of 18.

As per the regulations, Guraghe SRL is the data controller. The company is registered at Orasul Zalau, Str. Mihail Sadoveanu nr 43, Jud. Salaj, with registration number in the Trade Register Salaj J31/596/11.10.2021 and identified by the Unique Registration Code 45035963.

The company informs that the list of personal data above is exemplary and that based on the service engaged by the customer, Guraghe SRL only collects the minimal personal data necessary for the fulfillment of Guraghe SRL’s activities.

In the operation of this website, Guraghe SRL collects certain information (“personal data”) related to identified or identifiable natural persons, information provided by users of this website, obtained through voluntary consent, either directly (e.g., name, address, email address, phone number) or indirectly (e.g., IP address, UUIDs provided by social logins).

The purposes of processing the personal data provided by a “Member” or “Customer Adeyi”, as considered and pursued by Guraghe SRL, are as follows:

• Processing orders and returns;
• Maintaining relationships with contractual partners for accounting purposes;
• Optimizing marketing activities;
• Addressing requests related to order fulfillment;
• Marketing communications;
• Managing the account within the Adeyi platform;
• Statistical purposes.

By creating an Account, Guraghe SRL collects, processes, and manages your personal data in accordance with GDPR regulations for the following periods of time: (i) as per civil code provisions on the legal institution of prescription and the contractual conditions accepted by agreeing to the terms and conditions, personal data collected are archived/maintained by the Company for a period of 3 years from the termination of the contract (for situations involving deliveries and absence of return requests); (ii) personal data collected are archived/maintained by the Company for a period of 3 years and/or until the Customer expresses their final return related to the account.

It’s also important to know that we may process personal data to inform you about products and services, promotional offers, or for newsletter subscriptions. Generally, this personal data will be processed for direct marketing purposes only with your consent and through the communication channels (email, SMS, etc.) you provided consent for. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

By providing personal data, the Adeyi Customer declares and unconditionally accepts that their personal data will be part of and stored in the database of the owner, thus expressing explicit and unequivocal agreement that their personal data will be stored, used, and processed for the purposes specified above.

Guraghe SRL informs you that processing means any operation/set of operations on this data (with or without the use of automated means), including collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, modification, extraction, consultation, use, dissemination, provision, alignment, combination, restriction, deletion, destruction, etc. (these operations are listed for example in the Regulation, the notion of processing representing any operation related to personal data).

Territorially, the Regulation applies to processing carried out by a controller or processor with a presence in the EU, to processing personal data of individuals in the EU by a controller or processor not established in the EU, if: goods or services are offered to individuals in the EU or the behavior of individuals in the EU is monitored.

Guraghe SRL is a data controller as per the applicable laws and regulations, including GDPR.

The Company informs that, depending on the chosen activity/service of the customer and the purpose of collecting personal data, Adeyi may transmit your data to group companies, third parties, or authorities to fulfill processing activities. According to GDPR, we inform you that we may transmit or provide access to certain personal data concerning you to the following categories of recipients:

• Group companies for order management;
• Business partners for the supply of ordered products/services;
• Courier service providers;
• Payment/banking service providers;
• Accounting service providers, for external authorized accounting;
• Insurance companies;
• Other companies with which we may develop joint marketing programs for our goods and services;
• Public authorities.

We assure you that we will take all necessary diligence to ensure that the data processor or third-party contractor provides sufficient guarantees to implement adequate technical and organizational measures so that procedures meet the requirements of legal regulations, including GDPR, and ensure the protection of the rights of the data subject (individual client of Adeyi).

The basis for processing this personal data and managing collected data may be, depending on the purpose of processing, your consent granted upon creating an online account and validating it, by becoming an Adeyi customer. Additionally, the basis is also legal and/or contractual, based on the contract/commercial relationship established between you, the customer, and Guraghe SRL, through order placement, payment for ordered products, return of non-conforming or refused products, etc. It’s also a legitimate necessity and essential for the commercial and economic activities of Guraghe SRL, as provided by the Regulation. We will process your personal data to improve and take protective measures whenever necessary for the protection of the website and the platform users against cyberattacks, measures for prevention and detection of fraud attempts, including providing information to competent public authorities, and measures for managing various other risks.

Furthermore, we want you to be fully informed and understand the Principles established by EU Regulation 679/2016 and User Rights regarding personal data.

The European Regulation in the field of personal data protection sets forth 6 principles to be respected by the controller (Guraghe SRL) when processing personal data:

1. The principle of legality, fairness, and transparency: According to this principle, the company must ensure (1) that data processing is carried out only in compliance with legal provisions, and any other processing will be considered unlawful, (2) that data is processed only in ways that a reasonable person would expect, and (3) that the processing is transparent, meaning that the controller must clearly and openly inform the subjects how they intend to use personal data.
2. The principle of purpose limitation: Guraghe SRL adheres to this principle by committing to collect and manage/process personal data only for the specific purposes conveyed to the individual.
3. The principle of data minimization: Guraghe SRL follows this principle by collecting/processing only the minimum necessary data for the performance of operations and adopting norms to ensure that unnecessary data is not collected in relation to the commercial operation.
4. The principle of accuracy, up-to-date data: Guraghe SRL will collect/process only accurate and up-to-date data from its clients.
5. The principle of storage limitation: Guraghe SRL adheres to the principle regulated by the European Regulation, archiving/maintaining your data only for the period necessary to achieve the intended purposes.
6. The principle of integrity and confidentiality: Guraghe SRL has implemented all necessary security measures and established departmental norms to ensure security against unauthorized and illegal processing, accidental data loss, destruction, or damage.

The European Regulation stipulates that individuals (Adeyi customers) are entitled to 8 (eight) rights:

1. The right to be informed (Article 13, Article 14): Note that in the introductory part of the “terms and conditions” document as well as in this chapter, information about the identity and contact details of the controller and its representative, contact details of the data protection officer, the purpose and legal basis of processing, recipients or categories of recipients, information about data transfer to third countries, adequate safeguards, retention periods, your rights, the right to lodge a complaint, potential consequences of data provision, the existence of automated decision-making processes are presented.
2. The right of access (Article 15): The right of access is respected by Guraghe SRL and includes confirmation of data processing, access to processed data, provision of a copy of processed personal data, remote access through a system allowing data visualization, identity verification of the requesting person.
3. The right to rectification (Article 16, Article 19): The right to access is respected by Guraghe SRL and includes the correction of indexed data, data completion.
4. The right to erasure (Article 17, Article 19): Guraghe SRL respects the right to erasure, exercised only under certain motivated/founded conditions: Reasons: data is no longer necessary; withdrawal of consent; objection; unlawful processing. Additionally, by creating an Account, the Customer has given their consent for Guraghe SRL to transmit their personal data to contractual partners in accordance with a legal obligation imposed by European Union law or domestic law; providing services to a child, if legal conditions are not met;
   The right cannot be exercised and is implicitly respected if processing is necessary for: the right to freedom of expression and information; compliance with a legal obligation; the performance of a task carried out in the public interest; in the field of health; archiving; scientific or historical research; statistical purposes; the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims in court.
5. The right to restriction of processing (Article 18, Article 19): The Regulation grants this right to individuals and can be exercised only in cases of contestation of data accuracy, illegal processing, data no longer being necessary; the operator can only store data; any processing related to restricted data requires the data subject’s consent; the operator communicates any rectification, deletion, or restriction of data to all recipients.
6. The right to data portability (Article 20): According to Regulation provisions, Guraghe SRL respects the right of individuals to request the portability of their own data in a simple, easy-to-read format and transmit it to another operator chosen by the person exercising this right.
7. Ce sunt Cookie-urile?

Cookie-ul este un fisier de mici dimensiuni, format din litere si numere, care va fi stocat pe computerul, terminalul mobil sau alte echipamente ale unui utilizator de pe care se acceseaza internetul. Cookie-ul este instalat prin solicitarea emisa de catre un web-server unui browser (ex: Internet Explorer, Chrome) si este complet “pasiv†(nu contine programe software, virusi sau spyware si nu poate accesa informatiile de pe hard driverul utilizatorului).

 

La ce sunt folosite Cookie-urile?

Aceste fisiere fac posibila recunoasterea terminalului utilizatorului si prezentarea continutului intrun mod relevant, adaptat preferintelor utilizatorului. Ce Cookie-uri folosim?

Folosim doua tipuri de Cookie-uri: per sesiune si fixe. Cele din urma sunt fisiere temporare ce raman in terminalul utilizatorului pana la terminarea sesiunii sau inchiderea aplicatiei (browser-ului web). Contin Cookie-urile date personale?

Stergerea Cookie-urilor

In general, o aplicatie folosita pentru accesarea paginilor web permite salvarea Cookie-urilor pe terminal in mod implicit. Aceste setari pot fi schimbate in asa fel incat administrarea automata a Cookie-urilor sa fie blocata de browser-ul web sau utilizatorul sa fie informat de fiecare data cand Cookie-uri sunt trimise catre terminalul sau. Informatii detaliate despre posibilitatile si modurile de administrare a Cookie-urilor pot fi gasite in zona de setari a aplicatiei (browser-ului web). Limitarea folosirii Cookie-urilor poate afecta anumite functionalitati ale paginii web.

 

De ce sunt cookie-urile importante pentru Internet?

Cookie-urile reprezinta punctul central al functionarii eficiente a Internetului, ajutand la generarea unei experiente de navigare prietenoase si adaptata preferintelor si intereselor fiecarui utilizator. Refuzarea sau dezactivarea cookieurilor poate face unele site-uri imposibil de folosit.

Refuzarea sau dezactivarea cookie-urilor nu inseamna ca nu veti mai primi publicitate online, ci doar ca aceasta nu va mai putea tine cont de preferintele si interesele dvs, evidentiate prin comportamentul de navigare. Exemple de intrebuintari importante ale cookieurilor (care nu necesita autentificarea unui utilizator prin intermediul unui cont):

• Continut si servicii adaptate preferintelor utilizatorului, categorii de produse si servicii
• Oferte adaptate pe interesele utilizatorilor, retinerea parolelor
• Retinerea filtrelor de protectie a copiilor privind continutul pe Internet (optiuni family mode, functii de safe search)
• Limitarea frecventei de difuzare a reclamelor, limitarea numarului de afisari a unei reclame pentru un anumit utilizator pe un site
• Furnizarea de publicitate mai relevanta pentru utilizator
• Masurarea, optimizarea si caracteristicile de analytics cum ar fi confirmarea unui anumit nivel de trafic pe un website, ce tip de continut este vizualizat si modul cum un utilizator ajunge pe un website (ex prin motoare de cautare, direct, din alte website-uri etc). Website-urile deruleaza aceste analize a utilizarii lor pentru a imbunatati site-urile in beneficiul userilor.

 

Securitate si probleme legate de confidentialitate.

 Cookieurile NU sunt virusi! Ele folosesc formate tip plain text. Nu sunt alcatuite din bucati de cod asa ca nu pot fi executate si nici nu se pot auto-rula. In consecinta, nu se pot duplica sau replica pe alte retele pentru a se rula sau replica din nou. Deoarece nu pot indeplini aceste functii, nu pot fi considerate virusi. Cookie-urile pot fi totusi folosite pentru scopuri negative. Deoarece stocheaza informatii despre preferintele si istoricul de navigare al utilizatorilor, atat pe un anume site cat si pe mai multe alte siteuri, cookieurile pot fi folosite ca o forma de Spyware. Multe produse anti-spyware sunt constiente de acest fapt si in mod constant marcheaza cookie-urile pentru a fi sterse in cadrul procedurilor de stergere/scanare anti-virus/anti-spyware.

In general browserele au integrate setari de confidentialitate care furnizeaza diferite nivele de acceptare a cookieurilor, perioada de valabilitate si stergere automata dupa ce utilizatorul a vizitat un anumit site.

 

Alte aspecte de securitate legate de cookie-uri:

Deoarece protectia identitatii este foarte valoroasa si reprezinta dreptul fiecarui utilizator de internet, este indicat sa se stie ce eventuale probleme pot crea cookieurile. Pentru ca prin intermediul lor se transmit in mod constant in ambele sensuri informatii intre browser si website, daca un atacator sau persoana neautorizata intervine in parcursul de transmitere a datelor, informatiile continute de cookie pot fi interceptate. Desi foarte rar, acest lucru se poate intampla daca browserul se conecteaza la server folosind o retea necriptata (ex: o retea WiFi nesecurizata). Alte atacuri bazate pe cookie implica setari gresite ale cookieurilor pe servere. Daca un website nu solicita browserului sa foloseasca doar canale criptate, atacatorii pot folosi aceasta vulnerabilitate pentru a pacali browserele in a trimite informatii prin intermediul canalelor nesecurizate. Atacatorii utilizeaza apoi informatiile in scopuri de a accesa neautorizat anumite site-uri. Este foarte important sa fiti atenti in alegerea metodei celei mai potrivite de protectie a informatiilor personale.

Sfaturi pentru o navigare sigura si responsabila, bazata pe cookies.

Datorita flexibilitatii lor si a faptului ca majoritatea dintre cele mai vizitate site-uri si cele mai mari folosesc cookieuri, acestea sunt aproape inevitabile. Dezactivarea cookie-urilor nu va permite accesul utilizatorului pe site-urile cele mai raspandite si utilizate printre care Youtube, Gmail, Yahoo si altele.

Iata cateva sfaturi care va pot asigura ca navigati fara griji insa cu ajutorul cookieurilor:

• Particularizati-va setarile browserului in ceea ce priveste cookie-urile pentru a reflecta un nivel confortabil pentru voi al securitatii utilizarii cookie-urilor.
• Daca nu va deranjeaza cookie-urile si sunteti singura persoana care utilizaeaza computerul, puteti seta termene lungi de expirare pentru stocarea istoricului de navigare si al datelor personale de acces.
• Daca impartiti accesul la calculator, puteti lua in considerare setarea browserului pentru a sterge datele individuale de navigare de fiecare data cand inchideti browserul. Aceasta este o varianta de a accesa site-urile care plaseaza cookieuri si de a sterge orice informatie de vizitare la inchiderea sesiunii de navigare.
• Instalati-va si updatati-va constant aplicatii antispyware.

Multe dintre aplicatiile de detectare si prevenire a spyware-ului includ detectarea atacurilor pe site-uri. Astfel, impiedica browserul de la a accesa website-uri care ar putea sa exploateze vulnerabilitatile browserului sau sa descarce software periculos. Asigurati-va ca aveti browserul mereu updatat. Multe dintre atacurile bazate pe cookies se realizeaza exploatand punctele slabe ale versiunilor vechi ale browserelor.

Cookie-urile sunt pretutindeni si nu pot fi evitate daca doriti sa va bucurati de acces pe cele mai bune si cele mai mari site-uri de pe Internet locale sau internationale. Cu o intelegere clara a modului lor de operare si a beneficiilor pe care le aduc, puteti lua masurile necesare de securitate astel incat sa puteti naviga cu incredere pe internet. Dezactivarea si refuzul de a primi cookie-uri pot face anumite site-uri impracticabile sau dificil de vizitat si folosit. De asemenea, refuzul de a accepta cookie-uri nu inseamna ca nu veti mai primi/vedea publicitate online. Este posibila setarea din browser pentru ca aceste cookie-uri sa nu mai fie acceptate sau poti seta browserul sa accepte cookie-uri de la un site anume. Dar, de exemplu, daca nu esti inregistat folosind cookie-urile, nu vei putea lasa comentarii.

Toate browserele moderne ofera posibilitatea de a schimba setarile cookie-urilor. Aceste setari se gasesc de regula in optiuni sau in meniul de preferinte al browserului tau.
